Brothers

Born and raised in Chicago, the Wachowski brothers ran a carpentry business and wrote comic books together in their home city before penning Assassins, a screenplay that was sold to Warner Bros. and eventually directed by Richard Donner (it starred Sylvester Stallone). After writing a draft of the recent John Dahl film, Unforgettable, the Wachowskis wrote Bound, which had its world premiere at the 1996 Sundance Film Festival. The Matrix is their most successful film to date.
